Vic: Five year old girl dies in single car accident
MELBOURNE, Dec 1 AAP - A five-year-old girl died in a single-car accident in central
Victoria today.
Police said the car's driver, a woman aged in her 30s, and an infant boy had been taken
to hospital in a satisfactory condition after the accident in the town of Maldon about
2.30pm.
A Ford sedan travelling on the Bendigo-Maldon Road left the roadway and hit a tree, they said.
The girl's death took the Victorian road toll to 379, compared to 346 for the same
period last year.
