Qld: Firefighters raising temps, money and promoting Queensland
Queensland's firefighters' calendar is raising temperatures and money, as well as promotingthe state's tourism industry.
The 2003 calendar features buffed firefighters at various Queensland tourism hotspots,including Dreamworld on the Gold Coast and Hamilton Island in the Whitsundays.
Tourism Minister MERRI ROSE says Tourism Queensland is also exploring other promotionalopportunities with the firefighters.
She says the calendar raises money for the Royal Children's Hospital burns unit andis eagerly awaited by thousands of women each year.
