Home Affairs minister backs refugee=2
Labor stalwart Senator John Faulkner said the asylum-seeker vote was a matter for the delegates.
"I'm not in the business of making predictions," he told reporters in Sydney.
Mr Bowen said he expected the debate to be feisty.
"I'm looking forward to conference supporting the government's position," he told reporters.
